Casita slightly dark. We kept the door open for light.
I have stayed in your properties before. I enjoy them very much. I have stayed in 2 different locations. My complaint about both is the same. PARKING. There is ample parking but it is not clearly defined how and where to park. I ended getting boxed in for 2 hours at the other prop. The latest one i stayed in it was even worse. I ended up scratching my paint on a juniper because some one parked very badly. I found out as I was leaving from the cleaning lady we were supposed to park diagonally on the other side of the lot. It would be very helpful to paint some lines. I know its beautiful pavers but parking at your properties is insane. My second is there is no "fact sheet" or whatever in the room. A simple double sided 8 1/2 x 11 sheet would do the trick. A list of does and don'ts, a channel guide and on the back a parking map? that would be great.Overall i loved the place. I feel this small piece of paper would make your place perfect!
Overall, the casita was very nice. The place really grew on us over the week that we stayed. Sure would have liked knowing some history of the place. Suggestions: Kitchen towels and hot pads should be provided. Heater had an odor. More lighting as the place has dark paint. Hot tub needs a new cover. Loved our stay in Santa Fe.
I have not stopped talking about it. It had all the comforts of a home. Why stay at a hotel. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, restaurants and down Town all walking distance. If you go to Santa Fe it's a must stay.
Prettier than the photos. Very comfortable. Great hot tub.Neighbors (across gulley) had loud party Sat nite-3:30am. Wasn't clear if there was staff we could call to address problem. More tourist lit in unit would be nice. Was dirty under bed (we dropped something & discovered this)-otherwise immaculate. Beautifully furnished. Due to prob w/our Taos stay, not sure I would rec.this company to other folks. Will see how you address it.
My husband and I loved the house and would stay again. I was disappointed that we were led to believe that the hot tub was private and in our patio. It is shared with 4 other casistas in a central location. Wifi strength wasn't great either, but they are going to work on that.
The casita is very conveniently located and quite spacious for a couple. The folks at Digital Nomad Managment were very helpful when arranging the rental and the cleaning lady, whom we ran into when we were moving in, graciously provided extra clothing hangers at our request. On the down-side the closets in the bathroom were half filled with old rug mats and discarded household items including a towel rack, which would have been a lot more useful back on the bathroom wall from where it was ripped off. The bathroom and the kitchen seemed generally less well equipped and fixtured than in the Casita Agosto, where we stayed prior to Casita Corazon. Casita Corazon is also a little on the dark side during the day. Overall though, we would recommend this property as a good value.
I enjoyed the location of the property. The refrigerator was not very cold and all our cheese and butter melted. The hot tub was not vey hot. The room could have been a bit cleaner and unde the bed was quite dusty. Ont the other hand the house was comfortable and well set up.
Let me repeat-great location, just beyond the downtown, near the farmers market, railyard, and Cowgirl BBQ (yum). The room was much darker than it looked in the photos. Too dark. The kitchen had no counter space and the water pressure was really light in the kitchen sink. The bed was very comfortable and the location was nice and quiet. Mildew on the shower curtain and cobwebs on the furniture were not my favorite parts of this rental. Also, bring your own shower soap. The property mgr. was helpful when the hot water cut out. The faucets in the kitchen and bath were reversed - hot water in cold's location, cold in hot water's location. It was ok once we got used to it. Loved the patio off the kitchen for coffee in the AM. I'd recommend this place conditionally.
Heating system gave off a smell [either exhaust gas or burned dust] and we could not use....even though at times it was cool
The 1st night was uneventful. The 2nd night we heard yelling around 11pm. It sounded like "hey" or 'help" and went on for 45 minutes or so.The last night we woke up to someone knocking on our door at midnight. I told them to leave or I would call the police. A woman stayed for 30 minutes knocking on our door, asking for Gordon, asking us to let her in so she could talk to us. She would not leave us alone so we ended up calling 911. The police came but could not find her. She left our door just as the police arrived. I dont know how they could have missed her. About 30 minutes later the yelling started, the police came back. I think the woman lived in one of the casitas. I think the police called a ambulance and they took her away. This episode took over a hour It totally ruined our nights sleep and we were exhausted and miserable the next day.
